Eleanor Lilac DD - GG Cup Bra

We have bought several different models from Harlow&Fox over couple of years and my wife always has been happy for having these. It's 100% worth buying because you'll get well designed product that is absolutely gorgeous, comfortable to wear and bras bought two years ago are still in great shape (she wears these almost daily). Keep up great work!

I’ve written another review for the Eleanor Damson, so I won’t say much here apart from, oh my god, I LOVE the colour of this silk. I have brown skin and this colour is gloriously subtle and luxurious against it. The lace is soft and delicate and doesn’t irritate at all and the silk is wonderfully cool against my perimenopausal skin. I bought the bras first and once I was happy that they fit, I invested in matching briefs, but the Eleanor in lilac briefs were sold out in the sale. Elizabeth emailed me separately to say that they could make a pair for me (at full price of course) - this is superlative customer service. This lingerie is expensive, but the design, fabric, comfort and customer service make it absolutely worth it. I can’t adequately describe the lift I get from wearing it.

This bra is simply stunning. It feels very soft and luxurious against my skin. This makes it an excellent bra to wear on days I want to feel extra special. I ordered a size 28FF, the size I wear in most brands. My underbust measurement is 27 inches. The 28 band fits me really well, but it is definitely a snug fit (which I like). I think I could also get away with one band size up. My breasts are bottom full, and I get a bit of wrinkling in the lace at the top because I don’t have enough upper fullness to make it lay completely flat. However, the wires and the rest of the cup are a great fit, so I don’t think sizing down would work. The wrinkling doesn’t bother me and doesn’t show under most shirts. All in all I really love this bra. It makes me feel beautiful and sexy, while being comfortable to wear all day long.

A lovely fit. I bought this in 28GG. I have others in the brand at 28G. According to the internet for most brands I technically measure 26H. That is pulled tight - 25.5 on the tape measure, pulled normally 26 for the band.

The band sizes are nice and small and are not elasticated like most (the beautiful silk is most of the bra, including the band, there is some give, but not loads) so they are true to your measured size, with the need to be slightly bigger like your mother taught you before everything went elastic. I find 28 a really good fit, compared to most brands where it can be a bit too big.

The style is a classic full cup, with flexibility in the lace. Like other reviewer(s ? someone else said this I'm sure) I would agree that the style can therefore take a bit of fluctuation. I can (mostly) take a G but it is more of balconette look in that size, At GG is the best fit, classic full cup.

I don't have the words to do this bra and the whole purchase experience justice but I will try. I had long been looking for a very high quality silk bra for my cup size (US DDD/UK E) that was beautiful and feminine unlike many bras out there. First, I had to figure out my correct bra size, which Leanna helped me with over extensive emails since I live in the USA. When the bra arrived two weeks later, I was so touched by the packaging and presentation -- elegant boxing, ribbon, and wax seals made for the most classically elegant purchase I have ever made. Then inside was a personal hand-written note from Leanna. Finally the gorgeous pale lilac silk. It fits perfectly and is so so soft on the skin like no other bra I have ever owned. I had forgotten to buy some of Harlow & Fox's washing liquid but I purchased something we have here in the USA called Woolite for delicates (make sure to get their delicates version which specifically says that it's safe for silks). I followed the washing instructions to the letter and my bra came out beautifully. The whole experience was so personalized and although no one knows I am wearing this gorgeous bra, I feel beautiful when I am wearing it, which is a nice feeling that I don't often have. I am a 5'10" woman who wears large and extra-large sizes in misses clothing range (sizes 14-18 in US), and I have internalized the media image that only small and skinny is beautiful -- therefore it is wonderful to have a garment that makes me feel beautiful as I am!
